From airport to Trondheim

When arriving at Værnes Lufthavn, Trondheim the easiest way to get into Trondheim city is by bus or train. There are two bus companies that travels from the airport to Trondheim city, Flybussen and Værnesekspressen. If you are staying at Moholt, Værnesekspressen would be the best option for you. If you want to go to the city center by train you can book at NSB. Taking the train is cheaper than taking the bus, and it’s even cheaper if you have the AtB card (see description in “Bus”), however, the train does not go as often as the bus and it only goes to the city center.

Train:

NSB is the name of the national train company in Norway. You can find cheap tickets to several destinations within Norway and also some destinations in Sweden. NSB can also help you arrange trips to other European destinations. Remember: the earlier you book, the cheaper tickets you can get.
